With over 25 years of playing experience and an additional 10 years of coaching experience, Mark played for numerous prestigious teams including the New Zealand National Team.  He toured Australia and Singapore and was crowned the New Zealand National Batting Champ in 1989.  He began his career as a catcher, but like most ball player's, dabbled in pitching whenever he could.

Towards the end of his career, Mark joined and toured with Eddie Feigner and his World Famous "King and His Court 4-Man Fastpitch Team".  During this time, Mark spent everyday learning the finer points of pitching from Eddie, touted as one of the best that ever pitched.  Because of this, Mark became a regular pitcher for The Court; pitching 2-3 innings every night.

Mark then turned his attention to creating a home for fastpitch for the Pacific Northwest; with two facilities to better serve the rising demand and popularity of woman's fastpitch. Mark currently works out of a facility in Auburn, WA.

Today, the Anderton Softball Academy is arguably one of the most reputable and respected fastpitch teaching institution's on the West Coast.  Mark and his staff continue to foster an environment that encourages growth and hard work; their growing list of alumni with Athletic College Scholarships is a testament to their success.
